Our MEDITE TRICOYA EXTREME doors are crafted from MDF that has been chemically enhanced for optimum performance, it lasts longer in external conditions, performs better, is environmentally friendly and costs significantly less than a composite door. The process adds nothing that doesn’t naturally occur in the timber, and the result delivers incredible durability, stability, and strength. It’s a natural wood door, transformed to deliver super natural performance.

Method 

Chemically enhanced, a method which is also known as wood acetylation which basically increases the ratio of a natural substance in wood that increases water resistance. Allowing you to enjoy our external door for many years to come. 

Door Furniture 

Regarding the door furniture, there is no reason why you cannot fit any lock, letter plate, door viewer etc. as long as you follow the manufacturer’s instructions and make sure that any apertures that are likely to be exposed to the elements (letter plate especially) are well sealed to prevent moisture ingress. As with all door styles, it is important to take into consideration the position of the grooves, glazing units and/or panels when choosing a good location for your accessories.
