The double sliding frame system allows you to use your own doors so your design choices are not compromised. There are 10 standard UK door sizes so if you know already the door size you will be using then by means of the tables below you can arrive at the overall wall opening you will need to accommodate the framework.
If you have the space or are at the design stage, you can use the maximum overall dimension of the frame work to dicatate the door size and therefore the final opening you will have. This gives you the very maximum flexability and choice.
The sliding frame systems are available in two standard sizes - 75mm (3") or 100mm (4"), these match up to the two standard studwork sizes generally in use. The idea is to have the pocket the same thickness as the studwork so that you can directly continue the standard 12.5mm plasterboard over the pocket, the finished wall thickness would then be either 100mm (4") or 125mm (5").
Further layers of plasterboard can be added to increase the overall wall thickness.
The Systems are designed for use with doors 35 to 44 mm and up to 80kg. (120kg on request)

Prices are for the complete sliding door system including the frame, running gear, wooden jambs, dust brushes, recessed doorpost with intergral rubber bumpers and under door profile but not the door or final architrave.The jambs and the door post are in a tanganika nut veneer unfinished ready to paint or stain.
